Director and Administration Head of YBIS, Ms. Latha Mohankumar is a leader with great vision who nurtures young minds with personal care, concern, and love. A postgraduate in Commerce, with a Diploma in Montessori Method of Teaching with distinction from MMI, an International Diploma in Montessori Education from London, and a Diploma of Educational Studies – Early Years Enrichment Education, UK, Ms. Latha designed and developed an integrated in-house preschool curriculum based on inquiry-based pedagogy and a child-centric learning environment.
Her vision is to provide the learning community with an environment where students are equipped to think and act critically, develop confidence, respect nature, be compassionate and creative, understand cultural heritage and traditional values, and appreciate diversity and internationalism.
As chief administrator, she plays a key role in the financial and non-financial administration systems of YBIS. She leads the HR, Finance, and Academic Departments and ensures the smooth management of day-to-day financial administration, payroll, statutory accounting, reporting functions, and the well-being of staff and students.
As a member of the Academic Board, Ms. Latha supervises school personnel in developing policies, programmes, and curricular and co-curricular activities. She is dedicated to motivating and inspiring staff and students, and she manages all school events with quality as a core value.
